caught many movies this week, and all of them kinda gave me new insights. GR was one that i could relate to the most; how the feelings of the protagonists were portrayed, the struggles and turmoils they had to experience before achieving self-actualization, and not forgetting the problems that stood obstructing them. empathy, the emotion never gotten any weaker. BC was similar in a different way, ironically. the film was a narrative account done by X himself. we see how his values about the world slowly change through the help of patrick. JQ touched on the aspect that i really wanted to see, the family link.

i was mesmerized and slightly deluded by these masterpieces, but i pulled myself back. as much as i would love the fairytale endings, there's but a thin line separating them from reality.
