yes! i was discipline enough today to go out to study...i guess?

i woke up at 8+, seemingly a good start becuz the air smelled fresh and the day was bright. reached bras basah macs at 9.30am and started to do binomial expansion, which proved pretty futile. couldn't do question one of the extra practice qns, but i told myself it's okay i shall attempt question 2. hmm, alright question 2 was a teeny bit easier than question one; i could at least do 3 steps but i didn't give up! i tried question 3 and i died on the spot. my mind was blank, and i just stared into nothingness. so much for trying to do binomial expansion during the 1.5hrs. however, i recollected myself and took out Great Expectations notes to read. not bad actually, i studied 4pages before asking celeste to lend me her PSP to play, noo the correct term would be to 'relax and take a break', ya know we all need breaks sometime. frustrated that Hitsugaya is not performing up to my standard, i hit the reset button and played Ben 10 instead and only to end up frustrated again becuz the human Ben simply sucks at jumping cliffs. ugh.

here comes the volta, once i'm distracted from studying i wun return. WON'T RETURN! so we packed up our stuff and went on a bugis tour. wahahaha. first stop, Popcentral, becuz we wanted to act geek and search for books we could use for studying but...TCZ21 attracted me more. then, i decided we shld go slim lim square becuz i was suffering from post my-ipod-took-a-swim-and-died syndrome and wanted to get a new one, one which is a good swimmer obviously. after sauntering for like 40mins, i din manage to get one i like so we left the place, and the next aim was to find FOOD. the area was so severely lacking in food which had both appeal and ambience so we walked aimless and got lost (irony, sgp so small). then we spotted this isolated and desolute place called PEACE PLAZA! i bet all of u nv hear before right, and there was this nice-looking cafe called MADJACK CAFE and we finally decided to dine there. food was reasonable and tasted good, and we left feeling satisfied. the long trek back to bugis to take bus home was terrible and the worst thing was we realized we din know where madjack is located and cannot bring our friends there, DANG!

in conclusion, my studying trip was a failure to a large extent but there were other benefits as well such as getting to know a little bit more about the bugis area and learning that madjack cafe existed. hence, studying trip might not be all about mugging but also getting to know more about singapore.

woo, i just typed a whole chunk of what i did today, super detailed but actually kinda cool. hahaha. i shall pray that i will mug intensively tml. good luck, people for promos and prelims and whatever.
