i think today was really meaningful, during girls soccer finals at jalan basar stadium.

first up, VJC won! whoo, though by a near margin only but i think vj girls put up a good fight and deserves to win.

first half was very tensed, vj girls were on the aggressive strike and there were numerous close shots, but no goals from them. then, sajc scored the first point which was due to slight carelessness of vj keeper and that sort of dealt a heavy blow to victorians' spirit. however, the vj soccer girls still fought on bravely. sad to say, the first half ended off with the score of 0-1. not v promising huh.

second half was more intense becuz there were more near shots than the first half but VJ scored! a corner ball evened out the scores. both sides fought on and defended strongly, and the match ended with the score of 1-1.

extra time proved equally exciting, though the end score was still 1-1.

the penalty shot got every1 dumbstruck and jumpy. vj saved the first shot and kicked in the goal. it looked like things were looking good for us, but the subsequent shots by both sides proved successful - condescended to a stalemate. it was until the 4th shot tt the vj goalie blocked off the ball again, and the 5th shot marked vjc's victory. at that instant, all hell broke loose.

i witnessed a strong sense of school spirit today. it felt good, becuz i was involved and most imptly, becuz i bore the victorian identity. corny, it's not like me again.

anyway, soccer's kinda cool. not tt i will enjoy playing but watching it is a form of leisure and pleasure.
